Questions about the test
- How long does the English level test take?
- You choose: a quick placement test of 30 questions in about 10 minutes, or the full 84 questions in about 20 minutes. One question appears per screen and clicking an answer moves you straight to the next one.
- What does the test measure?
- It measures grammatical accuracy and vocabulary choice across everyday, professional and advanced English: tenses, prepositions, relative clauses, phrasal verbs, collocations and formal structures such as inversion.
- Do I see the correct answers during the test?
- No. Nothing is marked while you work, so your later answers are not influenced by earlier ones. Your score is calculated only once you finish.
- Is the level test free?
- Yes. It is completely free. You enter your name and email at the end to see your score and CEFR-style level, and we use those details only to send your result and arrange an intro call if you want one.
